Over 600 kilometres to cover in an hostile environment.
Crossing a desert solo involve several big risks. From a physical point of view it is a must to be in perfect shape.

Carla is followed from over ten years by Franco Nava (Personal trainer and ISEF certified)


Seven month athletic program, divided in 3 cycles


1° Cycle (september/october)

2° Cycle (november/december/january)

3° Cycle (february/march)

4° Maintenance (april/june)

On july restart the specific training program from the 3° cycle.

Due to the war that started in April in Iraq, the challenge was postponed to September.
The training carry on, but the previous program changes to a program based on strenght - endurance and blood circulation.
